Yesterday, we were graced with a swarm of honey bees. There they are on my rosebush, buzzing dociley(sp?). I called up some various beekeepers and Larry, who lives in Gluckstadt and makes some good local honey came by.

Here he is, trying to gently persuade them to enter the box. But alas, the beekeeper who is learning had to shake the branch to dump them in. Still after all that, they weren't angry. This should show, btw, the limberness of the rosebranch.(I believe it is Oklahoma)

Could you guys, think good thoughts for these honeybees. Apparently, there is a beetle that gets into the colony, and lays eggs, which destroy the eggs. The beekeeper lost half his colonies last year. They are more susceptible when they are stressed. So, send them some good vibes.
